Vintage Novatel Cellular Car Phone Model 8305 + Bag Tested Powers On 8300. Condition is "Used".  This has to be one of the 1st portable car phones hooked to a cellular network. Probably from the 1980s. I plugged in the adapter for the cigarrette lighter into my car and the unit powers on just fine it allows me to dial numbers and it makes beeping noises when I push buttons. Comes in a convenient storage case which includes the cigarrette lighter adapter for your car and an antenna that can be suction cupped on to the window. The phone itself locks securely on the top of the base for easy transport. All the cables seem to be in fine condition with no signs of tearing or fraying or disconnecting. This is a very cool piece of old Tech that could be used for display or whatever your purposes might be. The only thing I think it is missing is a strap so you could carry it on your shoulder but that could be easily added as there are fasteners ready to accept a strap of your choosing. Thank you for looking.   The unit and bag could use a mild cleaning as they have been sitting in storage for some time period. Comes from a pet free smoke free home.
