Shelby American Ford Cobra Chassis Plaque Original Lew Spencer Autograph SAAC

This is an original Commemorative Aluminum Signed Cobra Plaque.  It measures 10" x 6".  There were only 50 of them made for the Shelby Las Vegas Facilities early 1990's.  Then I had it personally signed by Lew Spencer at the SAAC Convention.  This is not a reproduction.  Lew Spencer was a race car driver in the 1950's driving Morgans and AC Bristols.  During this era he had is own Sports Car Dealership, Lew Spencer Imports Incorporated in Los Angeles, distributor for Morgan and Rootes Motors.  In 1964 Lew Spencer drove for Carroll Shelby in a 289 Cobra Roadster and in mid 1964 Shelby, Dowd and Spencer started the High Performance Motors.  In 1967 Lew Spencer was made the team manager for the Trans-AM Team and a General Manager for Shelby American, Cobra Team Driver and drove Sunbeam Tigers and managed the Texas Chili Company for Carroll Shelby.  Great item for your car or just to add to your collection.  Please look at the pictures closely, do your homework and ask questions before purchasing.
